About Sara's Sweets

Hi there! My name is Sara and I am the founder of Sara's Sweets :) 

 

We specialise in making Kohakutou, otherwise known as Crystal Candy. This famous candy originates from Japan and became viral on TikTok for its hard crunchy top layer followed by the soft and jelly-like second layer. This candy is a crowd-pleaser!

 

The idea of this business came about after I had tried to get my hands on this candy only to realise that there aren't that many Australian brands that make it! I thought 'Who is going to pay the ridiculous shipping price to get it from an American brand?!?!'

 

With this in mind, I realised that I may not be the only person in Australia who has been dying to try this sweet treat.

 

That is why I decided to learn to make and perfect the recipe!

 

I fell in love with making this candy and started to share it with friends and family, who in turn also loved the candy.

 

I wanted to share my love with the rest of Australia, which is why you can have the opportunity to try it today!
